Yucong Li is a doctoral student at Tongji University and a visiting student at Princeton University. Her research primarily focuses on the dynamic evolution of infrastructure networks, the co-evolution of major infrastructure projects and regional socioeconomic systems, and the role of infrastructure in urban sustainability. Her research interests lie at the intersection of transportation engineering and regional science. Specifically, she is dedicated to applying statistical techniques from sociology, such as the stochastic actor-oriented model, econometric models like DID, and data-driven methods like machine learning, to analyze current infrastructure projects and their associated socioeconomic issues, providing insights for future planning and development to achieve healthy and sustainable urban and social development.
