Shiyu Liu
Liu Shiyu is an Associate Professional Specialist in the Complex Infrastructure System (CIS) team. She earned a Bachelor's in Built Environment and Energy, minoring in Project Management, and a Master's in Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation, and Air-Condition from Tianjin University in China. During her time at the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Indoor Air Environmental Quality Control, she researched the propagation and surface contamination of fume particles. Later, in 2023, she obtained a Master of Engineering degree from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Princeton University. She is keenly interested in applying renewable energy technologies as well as sustainable development policies, and intelligent infrastructure systems such as smart buildings. Considering the likelihood of a future era of human-machine coexistence, she is interested in exploring how intelligent technological achievements can be sustainably and equitably used to improve everyone's daily life and offer more possibilities. In her free time, she is interested in various dance forms like Chinese dance (HUA Dance Company at Princeton University), Jazz, Urban, and Ballroom dance... Additionally, she enjoys hiking in forests and fields, singing, gourmet food, games, and sports, and is always open to trying new things!
