Bio/Description

Morgan Michicich is a senior at Princeton University from Chicago, IL studying Civil and Environmental Engineering on the Architecture and Engineering track. After graduating, she will be an Assistant Project Manager for a development firm in Chicago. At Princeton, Morgan is a Peer Academic Advisor, an Artistic Director of the Princeton University TapCats, a member of one of Princeton's a cappella groups, the Wildcats, and a member of the Princeton Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Morgan's thesis is about queueing in Walt Disney World, and more specifically, the purpose of her research is to create a framework of queueing to be implemented in Walt Disney World that maximizes guest enjoyment and efficiency of movement, while also taking into consideration sensory needs of guests with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). Using a combination of data from survey distribution and ethnographic fieldwork, she plans to develop a replicable framework which could be implemented in current queue lines and replicated in future queue lines to improve the experience for all guests, regardless of ability.
